My 50th birthday was on the horizon. I did not want to enter the next decade of my life in my current state of health. I met Tricia and we instantly hit it off. I told her that my goal was to turn 50 and be in the best shape of my life. We worked together for 12 weeks focusing on my fitness and nutrition. Each session was different. My doctor told me that my cholesterol was too high and I needed to go on medication. I had heard about some of the negative side effects of medication and I wanted to find another way. I hired Tricia as my personal trainer to help me lose weight and improve my health. We came up with a plan and met twice a week. After 8 weeks, I had lost 10 pounds and my cholesterol had dropped 50 pts! My doctor no longer recommended medication and told me to keep doing what I was doing. Thanks to Tricia I feel great. My name is Sue B. I am 60 years old and have lost 102 pounds since I began working with Tricia. When I first came to her I weighed 288 pounds at 5'6" and I felt miserable. My knees and back hurt all the time and I had difficulty just getting around. I had never been an exerciser and my food habits were very unhealthy. I was just beginning to eat healthier, giving up soda and fried fast foods. I decided to join a gym and try to walk. I could only do about 15 minutes of treadmill very slowly. I met Tricia and signed up for personal training. I started seeing Tricia twice a week and began to learn about strength training / cardio and healthier living. She helped me set goals and developed an action plan. Gradually, I began to lose weight. I gained strength and endurance. I also started to enjoy coming to the gym to exercise. My experience in establishing an exercise program with Tricia has been thoroughly satisfying and gratifying. After determining what goals I had in mind and the outcomes I anticipated, she tailored a program to meet those objectives. In short, she does NOT mechanically slap on some shot-gunned program; rather she thoughtfully designed one specific program to meet my hoped-for results. Spending time with her as she watched my form, the limits of my ability, and my strength and endurance, she made appropriate (and often needed) adjustments and no less needed encouragement.
